Micro-puncture Lab©
The Micro-Puncture Lab© method
This new dimension in Biologique Recherche treatments gives special importance to the aesthetic micro-needle technique. Estheticians now have a new functional instrument that allows the controlled introduction of active ingredients into the dermo-epidermal zone, further boosting the results of other Biologique Recherche techniques.
The phenomena of tissue aging are extremely complex and are organized following an inevitable chain reaction: the set of dermo-epidermal structures, whether cellular (fibroblasts, keratinocytes…), or even fibrillar (dermal collagen and the dermo-epidermal junction, elastin) and the intrinsic biochemical components of the dermis and epidermis (hyaluronic acid, epidermal lipids, NMF) undergo changes, disintegrate and may even disappear.
For example, between the ages of 20 and 80, the number of fibroblasts, cells that produce collagen and elastin, decreases by half within the dermis.
Biologique Recherche bases its entire anti-aging strategy on the very close interactions between the dermis and epidermis, entities in constant communication.
Everything unfolds as if a regenerative action on the outermost layer (epidermis and stratum corneum) were free to spread to the deeper areas of that functional unit that is the skin.
The results of this method are immediate and result in two activities:
1. The self-induced inflammatory response:
The Micro-Puncture Lab© method relies on the skin's ability to regenerate when stimulated. In fact, the micro-needle causes a slight inflammation in the epidermis, triggering an inflammatory phase and consequently a repair phase.
The same process will act on different cell populations, rebuilding the damaged tissue area. Fiber production will be reinforced by intercellular cement, improving the quality of the epidermis and dermis.
Following microperforation, neutrophils (a family of white blood cells) release growth factors that stimulate fibroblast activity. These fibroblasts, when stimulated, produce elastin, collagen, and glycosaminoglycans (including hyaluronic acid). These substances remain present at the junction of the dermis and epidermis.
The synthesis of collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans will allow for the redensification of epidermal tissue, resulting in greater firmness, smoothed wrinkles and fine lines, and a reduction in skin imperfections and scars.
2. Increased selective permeability of the skin upon contact with biologically active substances:
Simultaneously with this technique, a super cocktail of highly effective biological active substances is applied, containing regenerative peptides, multivitamin complexes, coenzyme Q, essential amino acids, and many other molecules with regenerative power.
Applying the product to the skin simultaneously with the micro-needle immediately and in the long term enhances epidermal repair.
